I read a comment  in the page  of his supporters on Facebook that he will be extradited to Brazil. He is now in Phoenix. So my question, if he was extradited, the people, who are envolved in this injustice, they would not be punishid and he would not see anymore his kids  :?

Another question. If he was extradited to Brazil, he wouldn't be considered guilty by a crime he did not commit? This is the help that the Brazilian consulate in the USA is giving him? They did what the U.S. court had wanted to.   :?

If Ricardo's supporters have not already done so, they should get in contact with "Father's and Families" about this case:

www.fathersandfamilies.org

They deal with these types of situations on a regular basis.

The court system in America is heavily biased against fathers and the unspoken legal presumption is that they are all guilty until proven innocent.

This presumption is held up and enforced by a combination of radical-feminist inspired "research" that pretends all men are violent, fathers are meaningless to children's development and women are all angels who never lie, alongside a multi-billion dollar divorce industry that feeds itself by creating incentives for women to file for divorce in the form of virtually guaranteed mother sole custody of children, alimony in the form of "child support" and most of the family assets (home, car, etc) in order to not upset the children's living situation.

This story is one of the craziest I have ever seen. The man is innocent. Let him go.

Since the beginning he must plead guilty to be released. I think this story is very unusual.

i can't believe he can be extradited.he's not a criminous to be extradited!!! what about the children???!!! and the ex wife who lied with the help of a 'professional' that did similar thing in other cases, all against the fathers???!!!! she already lost her license......in the other cases the mothers were arrested and the father won custody of the children..why can't the same happen to Ricardo???? because he's a citizen of another country???that's not far!!!!!!

Exactly, he must plead the guilty to be released. Therefore,he would be extradited. It was the prerequisites. It isn't fair. It is interesting that his ex-wife lived with him 16 years and only now, due to the divorce, she brought the accusation against him! She didn't knew about it before :? She also should be arrested as accomplice and the children should be taken from her. The American court should contratct a state psychologist to talk to the children! I think that there is evidence of parental alienation by her!

Ashamed to say that this is a story I was not following.   I just keep hoping injustice is mainly present in other countries/third world or religious extremist.   This is beyond shameful and does show the grossly unfair bias toward the mother and reinforces the failure and prejudice, so often present in our own courts toward fathers and men in general.

I really don't know that much about this story...if he's already spent a significant amount of time in jail...I'm not sure I understand why he would plead guilty when he finally has a chance to have his case heard.

Now, I totally agree that the 75M bail and the amount of time he was incarcerated was way out of line for ANY justice system.

I think the problem in this story is that the US court was not fair since the beginning. They should have taken the children from the mother and the father. They also should have asked for an investigation of parental alienation. The children should have for a while stayed with another family, who had any contact with the mother or with the father. Besides that, they should have contracted a state psychologist to talk to the children in order to investigate the situation for the court.

This kind of injustice can happen all over the world. I only wish that this case can serve as example so that it not happens in the future another injustice like this! Unfortunately, we can not know the reasons why Ricardo Costa took that decision. I would really like to be able to hear what his family has to say, because we only have a current news, which seems to not be impartial. It seems to report only the mother's side.

I just read on Ricardo Costa's page on Facebook that he is free and in Brazil. At least, he is already at home! I wish that he can  prove his innocence and see his kids soon again!
