Nicole is Home
« on: December 05, 2011, 02:32:24 PM »
Just to let everybody know, Nicole arrived here in Houston on November 29th. She will be here until February 5 and she then has to go back for school. She will be back in July for three weeks. This is suppose to happen every year but we'll see how the next year unfolds. I'm sure there will be sort of drama because Nicole's Christmas and birthday fall within her visitation periods with her American family here.

She is doing just fine. It's as though she never left and she does remember a lot of her earlier childhood here in Houston. I will try to post a picture of her soon. It has been a true blessing to have her home. She feels very comfortable here. She did tell me Saturday at the conema that she still can't believe she is finally here that she didn't think this day would ever come. Thanks to everybody for your moral support and we must never give up on the other children. Don't ever let anybody tell you that children don't remember things and they do not know what is going on. they will prove you wrong every time. They do know what is going on.

Amazing.  Congrats and enjoy the time you have with her.   Make memories of her visit to hold you until the next time she gets to come home!

Congrats Marty. I am sure it is even more enjoyable than you could even hope to convey in your words.

Wonderful news.   So happy for you and your daughter, that this actually happened.   I'm sure this kind of cooperation is what most LBPs dream of.  Great time to make lasting memories that will always be there, no matter what happens in the future.
