Wow, no comments from you all yet, but this is the first article on international child abduction written in Brazil that shows the LPB's side and is correct. Aside from the ridiculous mistake "Monica Goldman-fact checking please", it treats the issue seriously, showing how devasting it is for the left behind parent. It also mentions the letter signed by all LPB's. I see this letter as a sign that this Foundation's work is reaching results. Very pleased with this article.

Grace, can you post a translation?  Sometimes I can't bring myself to read a thread about Nona.  Maybe start another discussion about this?

Lovelboys, I think it's in the Main Foundation Forum as well, but not many people read the article. Despite the error, it's the best tone I've seen in the Brazilian media in dealing with this issue since 2008.

I posted that article back on June 8th in the Main forum .  The only post to the article was Tweinstein.

Anyone know just how long the step-dad managed to 'wait' before his latest marriage??? and just when his own baby boy was born....sure couldn't have been long.  Sean had a stepdad who allowed Sean to live with 'nana' and the baby daughter-
Now if I was a 10 year old...who would I want to live with....a grandma and baby sister - even if I had all the material things life could offer...and have an absent stepdad or with my bio dad that takes me fishing, bike riding, ballgames etc and one who shows me every dad lots of affection and who anyone with half a brain can see the adoration in his face when he looks at me...Doesn't take an Einstein to figure that one out...

Sean can sense the distain, tension and hatred the Brizilan family has for his birth father and by now knows the struggle David had in attempting to see him and get him home.  What that kid lived with emotionally thos years he was trapped in Brazil....

the problem most times in parental kidnapping and abductions is the brainwashing that the LBP is the cause of all their problems or is a bad/abusive parent and in turn the child does not want to see let alone hear from the LBP.
 Sad, VERY SAD.
Behind this smile is something only we LBP understand.
May God be with ALL our children.

Does Nonna even realize that she did the same thing to Davids parents, you know, Sean's American GRANDPARENTS, that is being done to her.  They went to Brazil to see their Grandchild more than once and were turned away.  How ironic!  :hihi
