Can someone update me?...Since Sean came home.
« on: May 27, 2011, 09:32:32 AM »
Hi,  I live one town over from the Goldman's and I missed his recent local appearance.  I was following the case up until Sean came home.  I was wondering if anyone can tell me how he is doing since coming home?  And has his Brazilian family visited? (Awkward).

Thanks!!!

How funny that you've been so close to David yet seemingly missed hearing any of the information which has poured out recently. Not to be rude, but have you tried just reading the material on this website, or watching any of David's media appearances, NBC Dateline update, or better yet, have you bought yourself a copy of David's new book, "A Father's Love: One Man's Unrelenting Battle to Bring His Abducted Son Home"?  That would be a great way to learn all you need to know (and more), as well as helping David and Sean at the same time!! Amazon has the book in hardcover under $15 bucks! Other formats are available as well, including audio where you can actually listen to David tell you everything in his own voice !! Buy it today and help Sean by helping David!! Okay ?

Buy the way (misspelling/pun intended - sorry), since you live so close, you may get a chance to go to a book signing or other even and meet David and he will sign your copy for you!! How great is that? Have a wonderful holiday.

Can I still donate to help David w/ legal expenses....I saw where he is trying to have Nona ordered to pay his legal fees-she appears to have unlimited funds...of course that particular Brizilan family doesn't go by court orders anyway so it's probably a moot point if she is ordered to pay...Will DAVID ever get peace ...thank God the ball is now in the US court system- surely she will never get Sean over to Brazil until he is grown and it's decision whether to go or not....HANG IN THERE 8 more years David...

I didn't see that. It would be great, though. I think under The Hague Treaty Law, the abductors are obligated to pay all costs (legal and otherwise) that the left Behind parent incurred while trying to repatriate the abducted child. Where did you see that David was trying to get reimbursed?

It seems like the statement that Silvana could be held to pay David's legal costs either in the NJ ruling or more likely in a magazine article like from Washingington Post....I've read soo much these last couple of days.....but I know I was reading a lot of past magazine articles lately and it would have been a statement or article in the last month or so.

Why are you talking like this?? I don't understand why you don't answer in a polite way for people who want to know the news. Sometimes it's not only gossips. I agree everybody has to keep going, but what David did is so fantastic thay people want to know what happened before. I bought the book. David is a hero for me. Roberta

I answered Roberta by PM, but the basic reason for my post, which I do not feel was mean, is that when a wealth of information is readily available on the same website where the person asks for an update on Sean, it is only considerate to make a little effort to read what is already here and easy to find, before asking for somebody to give them a rundown of what has happened with Sean since his return home.
