In their televised joint press availability, none of the four questions asked for both presidents (two by U.S. reporters, two by Brazilian correspondents) dealt with Sean's case in anyway whatsover.

Too sad.

I wonder if they were told it was off limits.  I'm sure though that it was a big topic behind closed doors.

I think so too. And the changing of the schedule was quite an elegant move from the host country. It gives Lula a break.

Nevertheless I am really mad :madgo: they did it! I am good Brazilian, emotion before reason. LOL

It was for sure a topic discussed behind closed doors...I would be completely shocked if it wasn't.

Perhaps by moving the meeting Obama was offering Lula a carrot in good faith.  Then when they met their would be more willingness to discuss.

On CSPAN reporter said that Pres. O said that they were both in agreement that the minor Sean G should be returned to his father here in the states.  I got the feeling that even though they agree, they are going to let the Brazilian Federal Courts do the job at the moment.  Just more hurry up and wait.
Give MORE these:hug:  & LESS these :argue:

David should not have to wait.  Sean is his son. As David said yesterday on the Today show "time is not my friend".  (I'm just venting):burn::cloud::madgo:
