"Life goes on", so goes the old cliche but it is very true and while things may stink, it is important to remember you still have a life to get on with.
To that end, I married my better half last Thursday in an impromptu ceremony at our home in Richmond, VA.
Whether you find your children or not, recover them or not, this life is the only one you are getting and it is not a rehearsal.
My ex-wife, Donna exclaimed upon hearing the news, "Does she know what she's doing? I did warn her!"
Have no fear, Donna and I are very good friends, like brother and sister, however I did reply love is blind but with Patsy (my wife), it is obviously deaf and dumb as well.
As for Emily's mother when she undoubtedly hears the news...I'm happy, very happy indeed.
