with the 30+ inches expected here in DC, I will be stranded indoors...although there's an online invitation to come join in the snow fight tomorrow up the street.

Hey Jonathan -we had a spontaneous snowball war break out here in Mt Pleasant... group house against group house.  Was pretty funny.

Just hope the cops don't show up, right?

23 inches at my house. Measured it at 10 am, haven't had a chance to measure it again.

It was almost covering our mailbox!

In Brazil is raining a lot! It;s very sad, because a lot of people loose everything in their houses full of water because of the floods. This week was the first time I got afraid of it! I was in my car, with my 8 years old son, 5 blocks from my house and the trees were shaking, I couldn't see anything, and the wind, and the granizo (small ice balls) and the rain! I said thank you god when I came inside of the garage! My cousin went to Big Bear in California and sent me a lot of pictures full of snow. I have never seen snow...I need to go to US in winter time...but during summer is so special. Roberta

i haven't even gone outside yet! last snowball fight i heard of, didn't the cops draw their guns!
 
leave it to DC police to do something like that - they can't catch robbers or murderers but they think a snowball fight warrants intervention with firearms?!!! :nixweiss:
