Notices? Like notice of civil actions?

Has anyone dealt with INTERPOL notices on the taking parent?
I could be wrong, but I think the only way to get an Interpol notice is to file criminal charges.

One time, I looked up a phone number and contacted an agent with Interpol. His first question was whether I was a law enforcement officer. When I said "No", he refused to talk to me. Maybe you could go to the local police officer who you initially filed your claim with and ask him/her to contact Interpol on your behalf.

Is the notice like a warrant for arrest? the reason I ask is after this Hague case is over It is what i plan on doing, filing criminal charges.

I went to the Police with my court custody papers and filed child abduction and interference with court action against my wife 3 weeks ago now. The police officer asked me if I was certain what I was doing and I said, unless they want to give me the option of having my exwife before a firing squad then this is the ONLY action I want to take. They were then going to contact the DA to have him file charges and then hopefully have my exwife put on a watch list for flying asap. Once in effect I was told it will operate until she is dead or she is arrested. I know the Marty Pate has been able to have his wife's arrest order reversed but that involves going to the DA and requesting it so that he could have his little girl come and visit and if the DA doesn't want to stop the order then it will stay in effect, it is not up to us.

I will follow up in a month as in Miami things move as slow as they do in the countries of South America it is so backward here.

Yea, I worked it out so if/when Nadia comes back...the mother will be able to travel back to visit and what not...and yea the notice is like NoansDad said...basically if they do anything stupid like try to fly somewhere (especially while the Hague case is on-going)...they'll get arrested on the spot and they'll take custody of the child (there's a notice on my daughter as well as a missing person). It's effective until death/arrested...but it's also up to the DA (which from what I understand in my situation, they're willing to reverse if she cooperates this time around). But they are reluctant in my case because the mother broke a law in Brazil early on when trying to illegally change my daughters last name (which is apparently why my case got priority/urgency) from the start, so they have a case on her just incase they need some leverage (she's basically proven to the courts and AGU that she doesn't care about the law period, both in US and in Brazil and that's making things worse for her) especially if she does something else criminal in Brazil...But I dropped all the US charges on her a while back...so I'm sure she's good here in the States...

After the Hague Case is over, and you have your child...there's really no reason for the notice on the taking parent...unless you're doing it out of spite...but technically, you should just be content that your child is home, and even allow visitation for the taking parent...So that your child hasn't gone from having one parent...to still having one parent. I think it's better to get the notice now...so that you can be confident your child never gets relocated without you knowing...that's really the only reason I got it...is to keep tabs on Nadias whereabouts

I'm not wooried about her moving again , When a Hague case is active in Ireland the abductor is not allowed to take the child near ANY  port. The reason I would do it AFTER  the case is because I did not get the relief I requested . The only reason I havent pressed charges so far is because of this worthless convention. So when it does absolutely nothing , I will not reup for another 5 years of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DONE . I will file charges against her .If she gets arrested and taken out of his life ... I am not to blame and refuse to take that blame. SHE made that choice. I am only protecting my Son from her EVER  doing it again. I think 4 times is enough.
I must ask , has anyone ever actually gotten their child back from the abducting parent subsequent to a Hague case? Shauns Mother was not living when he was returned.

It happens all the time, just not from Brazil to the United States (and most other countries).

I think Brazil may continue to support me. I remember the Consulate stating that the judge could tell the mother wasn't a real Brazilian because her speech in Portuguese was so poor...yet she was trying to use Brazil as an umbrella of protection when she's been in America her whole life...they really look down on her and don't consider her as one of their own. That on top of the lies she told in court just really helped because had I not had evidence to prove she lied, they probably would have taken her side...but thank God I was prepared

I went to high school in Hialeah and graduated from FIU... (I also attended high school and college in Michigan)

I have said the same thing about Miami/Dade County many, many times...
