brazilian flag
« on: June 03, 2009, 10:31:42 AM »
across the brazilian flag is PROMINENTLY displayed these words:

ORDEM E PROGRESSO (Order and Progress)

click here to see the flag:

let's pull our creative juices together and come up with substitute language that more accurately depicts what we've seen in this child kidnapping case.

i'll start things off by suggeting,
- in font depicting medieval tone
- in color rust

these words:

"UNLAWFUL AND BACKWARD"
...arching across that beautiful blue globe with starry, starry night

do brazilian courts fly their flag outside their judicial buildings?  if so, i'd love to see american media get a snapshot of that flag, tossing in the wind.  what amazing irony!
