Perhaps there was a thread about this website www.takeroot.org already. I checked it out and found it very interesting and realistic. It's people who went through a kidnapping situation themselves and they talk about parental allienation (which concerns me a lot!) Unfortunately, my ex poisioned my relationship with my daughters to the point that my oldest won't allow me to talk to my youngest on the phone. It is so sad what these abducters do to their own children...

Just found out about this website and searched the forum to see if anyone had posted it. Such sad stories, really, when will parents learn that kids will be scarred for life by their abductions?

I have been following Sean and David's case for months w/much interest, but also w/much sadness. This happened to me when I was 5 years old, though it was not an international kidnapping.  I am also a member of Take Root.  These stories are very sad and makes me wonder what was our abductor/parent thinking.  My abductor wanted revenge against my mother.  The affects of these actions last a lifetime.
