Walkathon Fundraisers October 3rd

Dear Friends and Supporters,

The Bring Sean Home Walkathon and Fundraiser to benefit David and Sean Goldman is quickly approaching. Please join the Bring Sean Home community and special guests Congressman Chris Smith and Playwright Gerald Thomas on Saturday, October 3, in Long Branch at Pier Village for the event, sponsored by McLoone's Pier House. All proceeds will benefit The David & Sean Fund and will be used to help defray expenses related to the abduction of Sean Goldman to Brazil and his repatriation to the United States.

Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the hospitality tent in Pier Village’s Festival Plaza. The day’s events will kick off at 10:00 am with a 3K walk along Long Branch’s oceanfront boardwalk, following by live entertainment featuring local Jersey Shore performers Brian Kirk, Hollander and Golden Seal.

This is a family-friendly event. Participants of all ages are welcome, including those in wheelchairs, strollers and baby joggers. Registration is free and open to individual walkers, families, teams and “virtual walkers” (those unable to attend the Long Branch walk in person, but still wanting to show support for David and Sean). Remember, if you are unable to join us in Long Branch you can still solicit pledges and walk locally in your hometowns, or make your own donation at bringseanhome.org/donate.html (or simply mail a check to The David & Sean Fund, P.O. Box 612, Lincroft, NJ 07738).

Free parking is available for Bring Sean Home participants at Ocean Place Resort (located just north of Pier Village at One Ocean Blvd.). Participants are invited to bring beach chairs for the live entertainment portion of this event; public seating is limited in Festival Plaza.
